The ambition

rooken.dk should be usable by everyone, including with a screen reader, with keyboard alone, with reduced vision or with a need for limited motion on screen. We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA as a minimum and AAA contrast on body text where possible.

What we do concretely

  • Body text of at least 17 px with generous line spacing
  • Contrast meeting WCAG 2.2 AA in both light and dark themes
  • Full keyboard operation with visible focus indication
  • Semantic HTML with a correct heading hierarchy and landmark roles
  • Click targets of at least 44 by 44 px
  • Animations that respect prefers-reduced-motion
  • No content that flashes, auto-scrolls or plays sound

Known limitations

The site is new, and we have not yet had an external accessibility audit carried out. There may be problems we have not caught ourselves. [PLACEHOLDER: update after actual screen reader testing and possible external audit]
